This project has been taken up in phases, where the intent is to streamline the street sweeping system such that the management becomes transparent and deployment is done on the basis of scientific normative standards. The key phases that we have worked with the BBMP include the following:
Phase 1: Analysing loopholes in the existing system on ground through multiple levels of data collection and methods of ratification
Phase 2: Strategy to bring in transparency through introduction of biometric attendance system
Phase 3: Planning for on-ground deployment using digital tools with the Ward level Health Inspector (SWM)
