To avail funds under the NRuM, clusters were selected across the country and asked to prepare their Integrated Cluster Action Plans (I-CAP)r. As a part of this requirement, we were approached to develop a DPR for one of the three selected clusters from Karnataka - Haragadde Cluster.

Through a collaborative and inclusive approach, our team developed a strategy for the cluster that aimed to channel the development of its villages such that it preserves and nurtures the essence of rural community life with focus on equity and inclusiveness, without compromising with the facilities perceived to be essentially urban in nature, thus creating a cluster of ‘Rurban villages’.
